We’re Celebrating 15 Years in Austin!
Our 15th anniversary officially kicked off last month, and after all these years of helping clients make confident business decisions things are only getting better at Illuminas. As we celebrate this milestone, we have sincere appreciation and profound thanks to all that made it possible. First and foremost we would like to thank our clients, who we succeed with together; we’re also grateful to our network of leading suppliers and partners, who perform fantastic work and keep us at a competitive advantage; and finally, we thank each of our staff members, who are the most passionate and dedicated researchers in the industry and who make Illuminas what it is today – and what it will become tomorrow.
Now, here is just a sampling of all the exciting things that await us in our 15th year:
We are proud to announce that we will be unveiling our new website this summer : illuminas.com! While we are dropping the ‘global’ from the domain name in favor of a simpler name, we are collaborating even more with our various offices and entrenching ourselves as a global unit. Expect more informative content, an intuitive interface with easier navigation and a more modern, global design.
We are doing a massive redesign of our Austin office with a modern, collaborative feel. It is a very exciting time, as we have lofty goals in mind and the great team of architects from Dunnam Tita at the helm. With a bigger space for the talent we are acquiring and a more open design, our team will be able to focus on providing continued outstanding service to our clients. Construction begins in July and will be completed over the summer. We will share photos of the unique architectural elements soon after.
Illuminas recently welcomed Dan Coffin to its London office to lead a new global Healthcare Practice. We are also continually executing strategic and leading-edge research for top media and entertainment companies, and are heavily investing in our Media Practice. In addition, we are making strategic hiring decisions to help drive innovation in the research space and continue to grow our staff of skilled researchers with diverse backgrounds.
We have ramped up our activity and are putting ourselves out in front of the public more often. Most recently, we attended the ARF Re:think 2013 conference and gave a presentation entitled “Mobile Redefines Media, Research”. Next up is the MRA conference in Dallas where we will present another great research project in conjunction with Autodesk, one of our valued clients.
On top of these conferences, we have our 15 year anniversary party planned for later this year. Employees from around the globe, plus honored guests, will make the trip to Austin, TX to celebrate in good ol’ Texas fashion – on a Texas-sized ranch where we can fit all our horses. Just kidding! We’ll have a nice night enjoying the company of those who have made our success possible, as well as the vibrant sights and sounds of downtown Austin.
